Groups view
The Groups view displays the groups that exist at the current scope level. You can create groups to assist in delivering containers. For example, you can create a group to dispatch dray-offs to a rail ramp, or to deliver empty containers. This provides additional security when dealing with important cargo. Use the Routing form to associate units to a group.
You can associate multiple trucking companies with a group. If a unit is assigned to a group with multiple trucking companies, N4 considers all the trucking companies in the group as valid carriers for the unit.
You can also use the Trucking Company form (on page 1) Truck Groups tab (on page 1) to assign a group to the selected trucking company.
You can add new groups, and edit or delete existing groups from this view.
Note: N4 does not support more than 32767 group codes. If you go above that limit, memory corruption may occur and you won't see the new codes in XPS.
In addition, you can use the Actions menu to:
Recover Obsolete: Recover deleted groups
Purge: Purge groups
Copy Reference Set: Copy groups from another entity set
